Pedestrian dies after being hit by two cars in a row on San Antonio’s Northside

A man is dead after being struck by two vehicles on San Antonio’s Northside, according to San Antonio Police. Around 11 p.m. on Saturday a man walked into the crosswalk on the 1800 block of Parliament Drive when a Kia Forte, which was taking a left turn onto the 11800 block of Blanco Road, hit the man.
Police said that as the driver of the Kia Forte got out of the car and tried to help the man, a Mitsubishi Mirage also making a left turn onto the 11800 block of Blanco Road, struck the man who was in the road.The man was transported to University Hospital. Early Sunday morning he died from his injuries.
The Mitsubishi Mirage was located at a nearby apartment complex. Police contacted the driver and obtained a statement.
