The Peacock release dates for three movie sequels with Certified Fresh scores on Rotten Tomatoes have been revealed.
-led sequel currently holds a Certified Fresh rating of 77% on Rotten Tomatoes, which 6% lower than the first installment’s score. Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto directed the sequel from a screenplay written by John Wick franchise creator Derek Kolstad, Odenkirk, Aaron Rabin, and Umair Aleem.
The sequel also includes Sharon Stone, Connie Nielsen, John Ortiz, RZA, Colin Hanks, Christopher Lloyd, Michael Ironside, Billy MacLellan, Gage Munroe, and more. During its theatrical run, the movie earned a worldwide gross of $41 million at the box office. The Bad Guys 2 will be available for streaming on November 21, exclusively on Peacock. The animated sequel has received a Tomatometer rating of 87% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 109 reviews. It garnered a total gross of $231 million at the worldwide box office. The movie was directed by Pierre Perifel and JP Sans, based on the New York Times best-selling book series by Aaron Blabey. The sequel features the voices of returning cast members Sam Rockwell as Mr. Wolf, Marc Maron as safe-cracker Mr. Snake, Craig Robinson as master-of-disguise Mr. Shark, Anthony Ramos as Mr. Piranha, and Awkwafina as hacker Ms. Tarantula, aka Webs. Joining them are Danielle Brooks, Natasha Lyonne, Maria Bakalova, Zazie Beetz, Richard Ayoade, Lilly Singh, and Alex Borstein. As for Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, the third and final installment will officially start streaming on November 7 on Peacock. It has received the franchise’s highest rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with a Certified Fresh score of 91%. During its theatrical run, the sequel earned a gross of over $100 million at the global box office.
