If you didn't get to check it out when it dropped earlier this week, a 'Coming in 2025' trailer from Max offered us our best look yet at the second season of DC Studios co-CEO and writer/director James Gunn 's John Cena-starring Peacemaker . Now, Gunn is dropping a big update on filming, announcing that Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Robert Patrick, Frank Grillo, David Denman, Anissa Matlock, Taylor St. Clair, and Dorian Kingi have wrapped filming.
Now, here's a look back at the opening credits for the first season as we imagine what the opener for Season 2 will be like: Steve Agee rejoined Gunn and Cena for Peacemaker, reprising his film role of John Economos, a warden of Belle Reve Federal Penitentiary and an aide to Viola Davis' Amanda Waller. Danielle Brooks joined the series as Leota Adebayo, with Robert Patrick in the role of Auggie Smith.
