The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) activated on a vessel traffic monitoring system (VTMS) in the Pasig River to keep of track maritime traffic as well as provide additional security for Malacañang Palace grounds and its environs. PCG commandant, Admiral Artemio Abu, and PSG commander Brig. Gen. Ramon Zagala were present during the ceremonies, along with other ranking officials of the maritime law enforcement body.
