SIBU, April 30 — The Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak supreme council has accepted the resignation of Bobby William as president, secretary-general Kipli Ayom said today.

“At the same meeting, the supreme council endorsed the position of the elected deputy president Moses Ripai to take over the leadership as acting president, as provided by PBDS constitution,” Kipli said in a statement. At today’s supreme council meeting, Moses named Julius Enchana Jasper Ancho and Dr Bego Sepop as deputy presidents.

Kipli Ayom was retained as secretary-general, Andrew Bugie Ipang as information chief and Baba Emperan as the treasurer-generalKipli said with the appointment of the new supreme council members, the acting president placed his hope that PBDS will move forward and be ready to face the next Sarawak state election.
