Marcial, along with the members of the league management committee and Board of Governors led by PBA chairman Ricky Vargas (TNT), are set to sit down on a three-day meeting beginning Sunday, July 21 to tackle the grand plans for the brand new season and in the lead up for the league’s 50th year celebration.

Vice chairman Bobby Rosales , treasurer Raymond Zorrilla , Erick Arejola , Archen Cayabyab , Alfrancis Chua , Ronald Dulatre , Mamerto Mondragon , Robert Non , William Pamintuan , Rene Pardo and Silliman Sy were all in attendance. The plans for the Season 49 are yet to be fully ironed out although this year’s opening conference, Governors’ Cup, is already set to kick off on Aug. 18 with the league introducing a new format where the teams are divided into two groups.
