MANILA, Philippines — PBA new vice chairman Alfrancis Chua confirmed that Hong Kong Eastern will be the foreign guest squad in the Season 49 Commissioner's Cup .Chua, who also serves as the sports director for San Miguel Corp., shared that the Hong Kong club team will be a 'very strong team.
'They will have to follow our height limit for imports, since we know there were several teams that complained on why Bay Area could change their imports easily before,' explained Chua, who also concurrently serves as Barangay Ginebra's team governor.Hong Kong Eastern and the Macau Black Bears join East Asia Super League as the EASL's two new ballclubs entering the new season, which starts this October.
