Back on the picket line - teachers want a pay rise that won't take away from students 🎓 💰
Striking teachers in Lincolnshire claim that the profession is going through a recruitment crisis due to government underfunding.
On the picket line, Head of Maths and NEU representative Nathan Schaffer said:"What we’re really fighting for is a pay rise, but not only that, a fully-funded pay rise. "There are thousands upon thousands of teaching vacancies available up and down the country at the moment because the profession is not attractive."
