Paul Scholes has criticised Erik ten Hag's decision to bench Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford despite his recent scoring form.
"Manchester United are struggling going forward - they're struggling for goals," said the retired star during a recent appearance on The Overlap Fan Debate with Sky Bet . "They’ve scored five goals and three of them were against Southampton, that probably tells you the forwards just aren’t good enough.
Old Trafford newcomer Joshua Zirkzee sparked excitement when he scored a debut decider in his Premier League bow against Fulham. However, Scholes cast doubt as to whether the former Bayern Munich and Bologna star can be the lethal finisher United hunger for.
