Peppers is also facing separate accusations of strangulation, assault, and battery. These charges arise from an incident where a woman, reportedly his girlfriend, alleged that Peppers pushed her head against a wall, choked her, removed her clothing, and forced her outside. Peppers has pleaded not guilty to these claims, stating to police that the woman was behaving erratically, intoxicated, and became enraged.
