Lockheed Martin said it conducted the PAC-3 MSE test in partnership with many Department of Defense services, including the US Navy.

Lockheed Martin has announced the successful test-firing of a Patriot PAC-3 missile segment enhancement interceptor from an Mk 41 vertical launch system-derived containerized launcher.

The test-firing will also help alleviate concerns that the US Navy will not have enough surface-to-air and other missiles in its armory during a future conflict. The US also supplied Ukraine with the most updated PAC-3 MSE variant, which its air force had reportedly used and combat-proven.
