Patrick Queen was frustrated by the lack of a contract offer from the Baltimore Ravens to return this offseason.

Queen, a former first-round pick of the Ravens, became an All-Pro selection alongside star linebacker Roquan Smith in 2023.

This week, those feelings have returned. Queen could play the ultimate revenge game, a Ravens player turned Steelers player who chose to do so on his own merit. When he first signed up for Pittsburgh, Queen said he wanted to be the villain in this rivalry, and now he has a chance to do that. Now, Queen can channel all the angst and thoughts into a revenge story on Sunday when the Ravens and Steelers fight for the AFC North.

"Knowing that a long four years that you’ve been in a blood, sweat, and tears over there, like I said, the guys that you bonded with, built close relationships with, even as you get us down, strengths down, everybody that you built a relationship with, you put your body on the line every single time that you went out there and when you could barely even move, whatever the injury may have been, you just go out there and try to be your best for the team," Queen said.
