During an appearance on the 'Pat McAfee Show,' Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes took credit for setting up his teammate Travis Kelce with superstar singer Taylor Swift.

Mahomes even went as far as to call himself a "matchmaker," saying that he encouraged Kelce to shoot his shot. "I had some input in there as well," Mahomes said, adding that he told Kelce, "Dude, just go for it, just go for it."Kelce also opened up about the relationship's beginnings when he spoke with McAfee on July 26. He told the host that he was "butt-hurt" that Swift's pre-show rituals included resting her voice.
"I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings," Travis said in the ."So, I was a little butt-hurt I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.""We started hanging out right after that," she said back in December 2023.
Of course, fans know that everything worked out, with Swift making her Arrowhead Stadium debut in September 2023 and the two embarking on a whirlwind romance that's included Swift flying across the globe to watch Kelce at the Super Bowl, Kelce doing a similar trip to see Swift in South America, and the two being spotted in Italy together as the star brings her tour to Europe.
