Fake images of the Co Down man have been circulating on social media
Late Late Show host Patrick Kielty has declined to make any comment after he became the latest star to be targeted by online scammers.
But a spokeswoman for RTE said the Co Down man has declined to comment on the online scammers. Kielty is the latest celebrity to be targeted by fake stories on social media, the Irish Mirror reports. Another post showing him in the Ireland AM studio, from one of the pages which contained the Garda image, contains the simple caption: “He’s been hiding it for years. The truth came out live on air.”
