Patrick Beverley Could Sign In Israel For Upcoming Season - RealGM Wiretap
Free agent guard Patrick Beverley could be continuing his career outside of the NBA next season. Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israel is considering signing Beverley, who hinted at a possible return to playing overseas himself.
Beverley played last season for the Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks. The 12-year veteran finished the year as a starter for the injury-ravaged Bucks in their first-round playoff loss to the Indiana Pacers. Before coming to the NBA, Beverley played professionally in Greece, Ukraine and Russia. The 6-foot-2 point guard went abroad to play after two seasons at Arkansas. In the NBA, Beverley has played for the Houston Rockets, LA Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls, in addition to the Sixers and Bucks.
Should Beverley sign with an NBA team, he's facing a four-game suspension to start next season. Beverley was fined and issued a suspension due to inappropriate behavior during and after Milwaukee's Game 6 loss in the first round.Phillies Targeting Right-Handed Hitting Outfielder
