Isaac Pate rushes for 227 yards and two touchdowns to lead Steinert to its third straight win over Hamilton West on Thanksgiving Day.
The Steinert High School football team celebrates winning its Thanksgiving Day game against rival Hamilton West, 38-0, in Hamilton on 11/28/24.The past two years have seen the Thanksgiving Day classic between rivals Steinert and Hamilton West go the way of the Spartans.
“This group is trusting and buying into what the coaches are trying to do in building the program,” Richards said. “It’s a testament to their hard work and it has led to them having success.” Pate capped off a five-play drive that started at the Steinert 27-yard line by bursting through a hole for a 47-yard score for the game’s first touchdown.
The other half of the Pate brothers, Isaac, finished off his stellar first half by helping Steinert roll into halftime with a 24-0 lead.
