Jurors are considering their verdict on whether Karen McDonald murdered Pat Ward in County Tyrone in 2019.
Pat Ward, a father of four, was found in an alleyway in Clogher in February 2019A jury has retired to consider its verdict in the trial of a woman accused of killing a man in Clogher, County Tyrone.Mr Ward, 30, originally from Sligo in the Republic of Ireland, was found in an alleyway on 9 February 2019.She has also pleaded not guilty to alternative charges of manslaughter and assisting an offender.
The prosecution lawyer said that demonstrated her assisting and encouraging Cox in carrying out the attack.Ms McDonald had also admitted that she had lied to Mr Ward's wife Ellen, who had called to the house looking for her husband.A defence lawyer rejected the prosecution arguments and claimed there was a "black hole of nothing" when it came to evidence.
