GIBSONIA, Pa. -- Pat Freiermuth’s heading into a season where he will likely be one of the team’s top receiving options. Outside of George Pickens,Freiermuth hosted his second annual camp at Pine Richland High School on Saturday, and we caught up with him to discuss the coming season.
When you get into community service and giving back, what was your reasoning for starting one in Pittsburgh? “It’s helped me growing up. It’s helped me become a man. It’s helped me realize my life goals. And it’s just done everything for me. My growth since college and everything. So Pittsburgh is very near and dear to my heart. It’s been awesome.”
“It’s been awesome, man. I mean, I think Heath is a legend here. And just following in his footsteps and them being able to kind of transfer over that Heath to Muth, it’s been great. And I think every time that I hear it, I’m blessed to hear it, and I think that it reminds me of who I’m following, the footsteps I’m following in, and the legacy he left and the stuff I have to bring every single day to try and follow that.
