WASHINGTON—Pat Cipollone, Donald Trump’s former White House counsel, testified all day Friday behind closed doors to the House select committee investigatingMr. Cipollone arrived at the O’Neill House Office Building on Friday morning and then proceeded to the fifth floor.
He remained there late into the afternoon, taking several breaks, and ultimately leaving shortly after 5 p.m. Before Friday’s testimony, the interview was expected to last only a few hours, according to a person familiar with the committee’s planning. Mr. Cipollone didn’t respond to questions from reporters.
