PNP-Davao deploys an estimated 2,000 personnel to serve a warrant of arrest against Kingdom of Jesus Christ leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy at the organization’s compound in Davao City on August 24, 2024. Some members of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ held a rally outside the Davao International Airport on Sunday evening in support of their fugitive leader Apollo Quiboloy, which made going to the airport slightly inconvenient for several passengers.
The KOJC devotees could be heard yelling at megaphones to express their grievances over the manhunt launched by the Philippine National Police in Davao City to arrest the embattled pastor. Law enforcement authorities have been staking out at the KOJC compound in Davao City, which is located near the airport, to enforce the warrant of arrest against Quiboloy. He has been charged of several crimes.
