Police boarded the Emirates flight from Dubai to Manchester after it landed
Police reportedly boarded a plane and 'searched the overhead lockers' after claims a 'suspicious package' was on board.

"The pilot kept giving us updates and came back on to say there was an incident involving GMP and that they would be coming on to do some checks of the plane, telling us to remain seated. The passenger said that despite the police response, others on board remained calm and that the full nature of the incident was not disclosed.
The M.E.N understands the airfield was reportedly closed for a short while arriving flights were delayed landing amid reports the Emirates plane, that had landed from Dubai, was stopped and held on the apron to be searched.
