A man was killed in a stabbing attack while riding the subway in Brooklyn on Tuesday, police said
The deadly incident occurred just after 8 p.m. on a northbound J train approaching the Marcy Avenue and Broadway stop in Williamsburg, according to police. Officers responded to a 911 call of a man stabbed while aboard the train, and when they got to the train station, found a 36-year-old man who had been stabbed in the chest.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, was rushed to New York- Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Two people were taken into custody, but it was not clear if both or either would face charges. It was not immediately clear what led up to the stabbing.
