Indea L. Dease, 50, died Saturday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Dale County. The 2007 Nissan Titan she was a passenger in left the roadway, struck a tree, and caught fire. The driver, Jacob P. Dease, 45, was injured and transported to Southeast Health in Dothan. The crash occurred on Dale County 72 near Dale County 99.
DALE COUNTY – Indea L. Dease of Ariton is the victim in the single-vehicle crash in Dale County that occurred at approximately 9 a.m. Saturday, said Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Administrative Bureau Director Lt. Jeremy Burkett.
Dease, 50, was fatally injured when the 2007 Nissan Titan she was a passenger in left the roadway and struck a tree before becoming engulfed in flames, he said. Burkett said the driver of the Nissan, Jacob P. Dease, 45, of Ariton, was also injured and transported to Southeast Health in Dothan for treatment.
The crash occurred on Dale County 72 near Dale County 99, approximately five miles east of Ariton.
