The Pasadena Jewish Temple and Center has suffered significant damage from the recent LA-area fires. Despite the loss of its buildings, the congregation is relieved to have rescued all 13 Torah scrolls. The synagogue's leaders are helping the many congregants who lost their homes in the fires. The congregation traces its roots back to 19th century Jewish residents of Pasadena and has grown through mergers with synagogues in Sunland-Tujunga and Arcadia.
