PAS to wait for grounds of judgment before deciding on appealing Kemaman decision

PETALING JAYA: PAS is currently waiting for the grounds of judgment made by the election judge with regards to the Terengganu Election Court’s decision to nullify the party’s victory in Kemaman.

PAS secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan said that the party has 14 days before it has to make a decision on whether or not to appeal the verdict and therefore there was no reason for it to rush the process.

“In this case, the election judge has to give the grounds for judgments and this has to be gazetted. We want to see what are the grounds first. On Tuesday , the Terengganu Election Court annulled the victory of Kemaman MP Che Alias Hamid who represented PAS in the 15th General Election .
