The act of a Swedish politician burning a copy of the Holy Quran recently has sparked worldwide anger, particularly among Muslims.
The world reacted to what he did in many ways, with the United States labelling the act as “repugnant”.Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, as reported by Berita Harian today said there were no issues with PAS’ plan. “They have the right to do so. There are no issues with a protest, they should express their views. If they want to do so, they can but the government has already done it , in fact we already contacted the Swedish ambassador to inform where we stand,” the prime minister was quoted as saying.
