PAS may not appeal Kuala Terengganu by-election decision, says source

PAS has lost the Kuala Terengganu federal seat following a court decision declaring its 2022 win null and void because of bribery that occurred on the campaign trail. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, July 4, 2023.

PAS might not challenge the High Court decision nullifying its Kuala Terengganu federal seat win, a party insider said. The party has 14 days from June 27 to file an appeal to the Federal Court, failing which a by-election will be called.
