Residents and library advocates grapple with parking concerns as a new development project threatens to exacerbate existing issues.
A five-story development about to start next to the College-Rolando Library has sparked concerns about parking. While the city plans to add time limits to some street parking spaces, many residents and library advocates feel this is not a sufficient solution. The city previously reached an agreement with the developer, Blue Falcon LLC, to pay for parking spaces, but the new development only covers a fraction of the original agreement.
Residents express frustration over the lack of progress in addressing the parking issue.
