Parisians grieve and pay their respects to fire-ravaged Notre Dame

It remains unclear how the Notre Dame fire started but authorities say the incident is being treated as an accident.

“I’ve never seen so many people here; I had trouble making it here from the Metro,” said Georges Montero, 65, who owns one of the riverside stalls selling traditional postcards and prints of Paris. "The crown of thorns, the tunic of St. Louis and several other major works are now in a safe place," Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo said on Twitter.
