SASCOC announced the first batch of athletes who will be representing South Africa at the Paris Olympics 2024. And among many other big names, is swimmer Tatjana Smith – formerly Shoenmaker. Tatjana will be competing in the 100m and 200m breaststroke competition.
She will be joined by five other South African female “aquatics” – including Aimee Canny , Kaylene Corbett , Erin Gallagher , Rebecca Meder and Julia Vincent . While there are three male “aquatics” – Pieter Coetze , Chad le Cos and Matthew Sates .“Annnnd it is OFFICIAL!!!! Paris Olympics 2024 🇫🇷🗼. in the Western Cape in 2023. Rachel is married to Springboks captain Siya Kolisi. The pair have two children together – Nicholas and Keziah . The family of four now live in Paris, France as Siya plays for Paris-based rugby team, Racing92. So, it looks like there is going to be a Smith family reunion soon!Tatjana holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in financial sciences from the University of Pretoria.
