A Character Running Down a Street in Paris Has Fallen

The upcoming show is a spinoff set in the same universe as Olympus Has Fallen, which premiered in 2013 and spawned what is so far a trilogy of theatrical movies. The Has Fallen movies star Gerard Butler as Secret Service agent Mike Banning, who has fought his way through a variety of high-profile terrorist plots.
Paris Has Fallen will introduce a new set of international characters into the franchise, though Butler is expected to reprise his role in at least one episode in season 1. The trailer quickly introduces the main characters of the show in the middle of a high-octane attack conducted by a disillusioned French Foreign Legion soldier whose men were killed for political reasons.
