They include watercolors, sketches, drawings, photographs, poems, newspaper clippings and correspondence.
The simple tale, which has sold more than 200 million copies worldwide, is about a child who travels the universe gaining wisdom. Since its initial publication, it has been translated into nearly 500 languages, according to the Museum of Decorative Arts, making it one of the most translated works in the world.The best books of 2021, according to global tastemakersSaint-Exupery, however, did not live to see that reach. He went missing while flying a mission in 1944 and was declared dead in 1945.
