He worked with the in-store archivists to source photos of the department store’s windows of Christmas past, and used one from 1959 as inspiration.

Samaritaine Paris created magical greenhouse and cabinet of curiousities that nodded to the store’s Art Nouveau architecture.The Samaritaine department store also set up a photo studio has been established on the Rue de Rivoli side.The department store is celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Japanese jewelry brand Tasaki with an exhibit featuring the house’s pearls alongside the creations of several Japanese designers.
