In response, Middlesbrough Council say that parking on the lines is a flagrant break of traffic laws – which can land motorists with a fine of up to £70.
Cllr Eric Polano, Middlesbrough Council’s executive member for regeneration, said: “We would like to remind all motorists of their responsibilities in line with the Highway Code."Please follow the rules of the road and think of others when dropping off and picking up.”slapped parking tickets on parent's carsMums and dads claimed the wardens were dishing out parking tickets to those who pulled over to let pedestrians cross the road.
