A Lower Swatara police officer used a stun gun against a student Wednesday Jan. 26 after a fight, students said.A Middletown Area High School parent is suing the Lower Swatara Township Police Department because a school resource officer used a stun gun on his son last January.
A fight broke out between Brown’s son and the students, which Richards and other administrators eventually separated, the lawsuit said. Richards put Brown’s son in handcuffs, who was then taken to the hospital to have the stun gun wires removed from his skin.
