on Thursday, according to two people with knowledge of the situation. It means Bally/Diamond remains in good standing on its contract with the Rangers and will continue to own local broadcast rights.

Games will continue to air on Bally Sports Southwest and are available through cable providers with whom Diamond has contracts. It does not resolve the bigger issue confronting the industry over direct to consumer streaming rights. Diamond does not own direct to consumer streaming rights and can only air its games on providers with whom it has a contract.
