Page Six exclusively spoke with Travis Barker’s latest protégés, Pardyalone and Sueco, at Lollapalooza, where they dished on working with the Blink-182 drummer.
“And hopefully there is a time where me and Travis can go on tour together. That would be amazing.”Sueco echoed Pardyalone’s sentiments about Barker, telling us it was “cool” to work with him on “SOS.”and we had been meaning to make something for a while,” the producer-turned-singer recalled of how the collaboration came to be.Sueco also echoed what Pardyalone said about Barker’s inspiring work ethic, telling us, “He’s a machine. It’s really cool watching him do what he does.
Sueco’s latest release is a song titled “Help Me,” which he said was like “therapy” for him to write.“Writing the song .. I was kind of just in this dark place. And I realized I can’t get out of this by myself and that’s OK; you can ask for help. That’s what friends are for. That’s what relationships,“I just wanted to make a song because I felt like I needed help.
Like Pardyalone, this year marked Sueco’s debut performance at the four-day music festival, which took place at Chicago’s Grant Park.“I’ve never been to Lollapalooza. I figured the first time I would come is when I perform,” he told us ahead of his high-energy set, which included some stage diving, crowd surfing and one fan even climbing into a tree asLollapalooza wraps Sunday with Lana Del Rey, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Louis The Child and L’Impératrice closing out the festival.
