The Parañaque city government held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Women and Children’s Hospital on Friday, June 30.

Olivarez, who is a registered nurse, said the construction of WCH is part of the city government’s move to further improve accessible health services for residents. The mayor said a bridge will be built to connect the WCH to the building of OsPar-1 to make it accessible and for immediate transfer of patients.

He said the seven-story facility will be the second hospital in the country that will exclusively cater to women and children.
