It was easy for Paradise to cling to the title as one of the best shows of the year after its release in December. However, now more than halfway through the year, it’s clear that Dan Fogelman and Sterling K. Brown’s This Is Us reunion will hold up as one of the strongest of 2025. The show also introduced stars like James Marsden, Julianne Nicholson, and Krys Marshall to bring this twisty, dystopian story to life.
“We split the difference in Season 1. There was a lot of going back and forth between the present day and the bunker in the past couple of years or couple years earlier, before the world had basically ended.
James Marsden Will Return in ‘Paradise’ Season 2 Close James Marsden’s Cal Bradford was a fan-favorite in Paradise Season 1, but due to his use being largely limited to flashbacks in Season 2, his status in Season 2 remained unclear. However, Sterling K. Brown recently confirmed that he would return in Season 2 for more flashbacks, albeit in a smaller capacity than Season 1.
