Carolina Panthers star running back Jonathon Brooks had to be helped off field after suffering a scary non-contact injury.
The Carolina Panthers will likely be without star running back Jonathon Brooks for the rest of the day, as he suffered what looked to be a scary non-contact leg injury. Following what looked like Brooks trying to cut, he immediately hit the turf and was favoring his leg.More news: Eagles Star Safety CJ Gardner-Johnson Exits Game With Apparent ConcussionBrooks attempted to hop off the field but immediately collapsed. The training staff for the game had to then help him off the field.
His best year was in 2023, where he secured 1,139 yards, 10 touchdowns, and a 6.1 yards per carry average. He also secured 261 receiving yards and two touchdowns.Brooks has only appeared in two games this season, securing 25 yards on eight carries. Brooks also added three receptions for 23 yards.Brooks is officially doubtful to return with what is being called a knee injury.
