Opposing quarterbacks enjoyed a passer rating of 106.9 when targeting Henderson in coverage. The former Florida standout allowed a healthy 12.

Offensive coordinators felt good about isolating their playmakers against Henderson. In Week 17, Henderson allowed nine receptions on 11 targets for 142 yards and two touchdowns. Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiverPanthers general manager Scott Fitterer responded to Henderson’s struggles by declining his fifth-year option in May. It was an expected decision and means Henderson is now entering a contract season. He’s scheduled to earn a base salary of $3.4 million, according to Spotrac.
