On Monday, Feb. 27, Police Regional Office-Cordillera chief Brig. Gen. Mafelino Bazar reported that the Panagbenga Festival's grand street dancing parade on Feb. 25 and grand float parade on Feb. 26 were peaceful.

BAGUIO CITY – Brig. Gen. Mafelino Bazar, Police Regional Office-Cordillera chief, reported on Monday, Feb. 27, that the two major events of the Panagbenga Festival – the grand street dancing parade on Feb. 25 and the grand float parade on Feb. 26 – were relatively peaceful.“Actually, we added police officers on Sunday because we have many guests who are VIPs, such as Sen. Imee Marcos, Sen. Lito Lapid, DOT Secretary Christina Frasco, chief PNP Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr.

He said the collaboration between the police and other government agencies made the festival peaceful and orderly. He has scheduled post-assessment meetings with concerned offices to identify areas of improvement and immediately address concerns.
