Malacañang on Tuesday, Feb. 7, named new appointees of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. for the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) and the Office of the President (OP).
Malacañang on Tuesday, Feb. 7, named new appointees of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. for the Local Water Utilities Administration and the Office of the President .The Presidential Communications Office announced that Marcos appointed Vicente Homer Revil as acting administrator and member of the Board of Trustees of the LWUA under the Department of Public Works and Highways .
Just last week, Marcos made an appointment at the Department of Social Welfare and Development designating Valenzuela 1st District Rep. Rex Gatchalian to lead the agency as its secretary.Prior to this, Marcos also appointed several government officials to the Commission on Filipinos Overseas, the Government Service Insurance System , and the Department of Tourism last month.
The President, however, has yet to appoint a new Health secretary. The department only has officer-in-charge Rosario Vergeire since he assumed the presidency in June 2022.
