MANILA, Philippines — Presidential Communications Office Secretary Cheloy Garafil on Saturday denied rumors that Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin has resigned from his post.
In a message to the Malacañang Press Corp reporters, Garafil, through an officer, simply said that the speculations are “not true.”Since the start of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s term, three key players in his cabinet have resigned. The ES before Bersamin was Vic Rodriguez, who was initially supposed to be reassigned to a different position but was later said to no longer be a member of Marcos’ cabinet.
