A Pakistan passenger plane with more than 100 people believed to be on board crashed in the southern city of Karachi on Friday, the country's aviation authority said.
A Pakistani passenger plane with nearly 100 people on board crashed into a residential area of the southern city of Karachi on Friday.
"I heard a big bang and woke up to people calling for the fire brigade," said Karachi resident Mudassar Ali. The disaster comes as Pakistanis across the country are preparing to celebrate the end of Ramadan and the beginning of Eid al-Fitr, with many travelling back to their homes in cities and villages.
