PETALING JAYA: The Parliament session on March 9 will be the best way to determine who has the majority support, says Pakatan Harapan.

In a statement on Sunday , Pakatan reiterated that the next Parliament session on March 9 will go on as scheduled, with the support of 112 MPs.

"This is an excellent opportunity to determine the support of the Prime Minister and thus ending the current political turmoil of the country," the statement read. It added that Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail had been appointed as the coalition's new secretary-general. Earlier on Sunday, former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad claimed that the Yang di-Pertuan Agong would not see him anymore after appointing Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as Prime Minister."That is the situation," Dr Mahathir said."Muhyiddin claimed he has the full support of all Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia MPs but of out 36 MPs, six have refused to support him, namely myself and my son Mukhriz.
