Pakatan leaders told to ‘be prepared’ for state elections in June

Sources indicate that Pakatan Harapan is aiming for June elections in the states the coalition controls. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, January 8, 2023.

ELECTIONS in three Pakatan Harapan-governed states – Selangor, Negri Sembilan and Penang – could take place in June this year, a source close to the coalition leadership said. The source added that PKR leaders were told in a meeting to be prepared for state polls in June, but said no dates were given.
