Kerajaan dicadang selaras semula Belanjawan 2020 susulan kejatuhan harga minyak dunia dan penularan wabak Covid-19.
“Penurunan harga minyak sebanyak 30 dolar mungkin kerajaan hilang RM30 bilion, itu belum lagi mengambil kira kemungkinan besar hasil pendapatan cukai berkurangan kerana operasi perniagaan tergendala disebabkan Covid-19. “Apabila ekonomi mencapai tahap kemuncak dan menurun, ini sebenarnya pusingan biasa dalam ekonomi di mana 5 tahun naik dan 5 tahun turun, kita telah bersedia secara langsung atau tidak langsung menghadapinya.
