At least two people were injured in a shooting Thursday in an East Oakland neighborhood, authorities said.
Shortly after 6 p.m., police responded to reports of a possible shooting near 64th Avenue and Camden Street in the city’s Frick neighborhood.
When officers arrived, they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his stomach. Soon after, a second victim was found within a block suffering from at least one gunshot wound.Other officers worked to block off traffic and control a crowd of family members and pedestrians along 64th at Camden Street and at Foothill Boulevard.
