The teen victim was struck in the face, causing him to fall. Police said he was taken to a local hospital where he underwent surgery for injuries to his jaw and teeth.
“It originates from an employee reminding them about wearing masks,” said Lt. Steve Forman of the Middletown Township Police Department. ., including a requirement that all employees and park guests ages 2 and up wear face masks.Forman said the employee was assaulted when he reminded the visitors of the mask-wearing requirements in the park around 5:15 p.m. Sunday.
